Its unfortunate that some anime don't truly get to finish. Air Gear is just one example, Tactics, Tokko, Zombie Loan, and DearS are also anime that ended prematurely. This happens usually because the manga doesn't have a conclusion yet, so they either they just don't completely finish or they make a different ending like Elemental Gelade and Fullmetal Alchemist.

This is something that came under discussion between me and various people I know. If Lelouch and Light were enemies in the same world who would win? This is not a who could kill who in a one on one fight question, because that may lead to flaming. This is asking if they were fighting in some kind of contest of strategy. One example is that Lelouch sees Kira as an enemy who would get in the way, and Light sees Zero as someone who is getting in the way of punishing criminals. They both decide to find the true identity and dispose of their enemy. So who would be the victor?

Try watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, it is a great anime.

There isn't an easy way to answer this question. Everybody lies at some point. Some lie to protect themselves, some to protect others, some out of greed, and some out of spite. Finding a person that has never lied is next to impossible.

Quote by shoujoboyIt's a yes from me.

Anime of all genres hope to invoke some kind of emotion or reaction in their viewer. Action anime exists to give the viewer a thrill. Romance exists to create that euphoria associated with true love. Hentai exists for viewer arrousal. All of these are natural human emotions and reactions. To say that any one of these is superior to another is ludicrous.

Besides the after school special answer above, hentai also allows for darker parts of each person to be freeer. There are more things that can be done in hentai that can't be done in any live-action media, as well as the ability to see virtually any character a person has "fallen for" in a sexual situation. Ultimately, while you may love Angelina Jolie in live action, there are certain things you will never see her do. But if you obsess over Belldandy, then there is going to be plenty out there to "explore". Whether one uses this to "grow closer to a character" or simply to see something naked... thats up to the individual.

Whew... quantifying that type of thing into words that don't make you sound simply like a pervert is pretty difficult.

That's a very interesting way to put it. I can't help but agree with that, since I have similar views. I have an interest in japanese visual novels and dating sims because of the way they can connect with the players emotions, so its also a yes from me.

Quote by shoujoboyDetail is typically a good thing. What I normally hate is when the show just decides to complicate itself more than it needs to. Haruhi comes to mind. Great characters and some laugh out loud moments, then it decides to get into the whole God thing and from there it went down hill.

What are you talking about, the Haruhi is god thing is one of the features that made it so popular.

Lucky Star is really funny, especially if your familiar with otaku culture.

If I don't have to get up early the next day I will keep doing stuff till I almost pass out. If I have school I will think of one of the fictions I'm trying to write. However, after watching certain anime it becomes hard to sleep.

My eyes shift between, amber brown, hazel, and green.

If you truly love those close to you, then you shouldn't do anything to make them cry. If you hate yourself then change yourself into someone you can like. Dying will only pass your despair onto others. If you're suffering let someone know, so they can help you. I used hate myself, but I decided to change and completely get rid of the old me. So let someone know your suffering and do your best to change.

I personally like Ren and Cou from Elemental Gelade.

I like Nerine the most, but Kaede would probably match me the best because I tend to forget important things like eating three meals a day.

f

Believe or not there was an anime class in my school when I was in 8th grade.

f

Haruhi Suzumiya is god, so female.

f

Try To Love-ru.

f

Hikari(This Ugly Yet Beautiful World)
Ren(Elemental Gelade)
Nagisa Furukawa(Clannad)
Haruhi Suzumiya(The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
Kotonoha Katsura(School Days)
C.C.(Code Geass)

f

I'm 17 and I have a crush on 4 anime characters:
Ren(Elemental Gelade)
Hikari(This Ugly Yet Beautiful World)
Nagisa(Clannad)
Haruhi Suzumiya(this one's self explanatory)

Quote by DuuzYeah, anime fans these days are spoiled never knowing what the long time fans had to go through to get anime into the publics eye. Anime is dirt cheap compared to 10 years and longer ago. Along comes high speed internet and the so called fans start killing the industry, using false claims as the fan dubs are more accurate than the professional translations.

I've heard a lot of people I know complain about dubbed voices. When the Karin/Chibi Vampire dvd came out a lot of people I know were complaining about Karin's dubbed voice. I personally had no complaints, but when I asked all those people what voice actress would have been better no one could come up with an answer. It annoys me when someone complains about voice acting when it isn't terribly messed up.

I may watch anime online, but I still pour a lot of money into the industry. I've spent $2000+ on anime and manga and I don't even have a part time job. You can't call anime expensive when you can get 20-30 episode box sets for under $100. And manga couldn't be cheaper, you pay $8-$11 for a book that takes you 20min to an hour to read, and you're gonna read it more than once for sure. I've read some books well over 20 times and each time is still entertaining.

f

Watch Clannad, its great.

f

I'm not too critical of dubbed voices unless I can actually think of a better choice for the voice. I watch both without caring, but I have to watch a series in one language, I can't switch in between.

f

I don't yell it out to each person I meet, but my actions let people know that I'm strange and obsessed with anime. For example, I have a "Brigade Leader" Arm Band attached to my backpack. I always have at least one manga book on my person and I tend to make anime references that usually only I get.

f

Well it all depends on which one of my favorites. Because if it were Haruhi Suzumiya, it would take me a while to figure out what was happening and drive away the fear cause it would be a little scary to have Haruhi do that to you out of nowhere.

f

Well, I will think about anime or manga almost every waking hour so I don't think I could survive long. My friends always say depriving me of anime or manga is a good way to lose blood.

Zanpaktou name: Makkakaze(Crimson Wind)
Shikai Release Command: "Slice though the Heavens..."
Shikai Form and Abilities: The sword itself becomes wind. Rather than holding a physical sword, the user is holding onto a blade of constantly moving wind. The length is based off of the user's
spiritual energy and can be adjusted at will. It can fire blasts of air and cannot be blocked normally because the sword is made of air. It cannot make very deep wounds and it can be blocking with it is only redirecting the enemies blade with the wind. As the blade cuts, the wind catches blood slowly making the blade visible, once the blade is completely red Bankai becomes available.

Bankai Name: Sora Makkakaze(Flying Crimson Wind)
Bankai Form: The blade becomes a jagged crimson katana(kinda similar to Saya's sword in Blood+), and I gain large wings of light.

Bankai Execution: Once the shikai turns red, I slide my hand across the blade and it becomes solid. Then I grow wings.

Bankai Ability: My speed and shunpo ability increase, and I can freely fly though the air without solidifying spirit particles beneath my feet. The sword can release shock waves of wind that can cut through most objects. When the sword is swung in close quarters combat its speed creates a vacuum of air which can send someone flying, when swung downward the vacuum is stronger and will can send someone into the air much easier.
